P-51D Swiss Miss

After uncovering, reinforcing, and recovering I airbrushed the P-51 with automotive color. The decals are water slides that I created on a computer. The color schema and the insignia are gathered from multiple sources and are not authentic, I just tried to make a nice looking plane (that I am now afraid to fly :-)) . The plane is supposed to fly great but I haven’t had a chance to fly it yet, because a zillion of reasons.

FW-190 D9 / Pica

This is one of my all time favorite model air planes. I built the FW-190 when I was a teenager and flew with it on many occasions in Switzerland. The plane tracks beautifully and is a blast to fly. Because of it’s age and it’s sentimental value, it is hanging now in our living room.
